Matcha Otome is a ceremonial-grade organic green tea powder that has a fresh aroma of sweet grass and rich, velvety notes of chocolate. From the prestigious Uji region in Kyoto, this matcha is excellent as is or in drinks such as matcha lattes, smoothies, and cocktails.

Creamy Matcha Green Tea Popsicles Recipe

Total Time: 15 mins + 2 hours freezing time
Total Time: 4 popsicles

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of oat milk/almond milk/coconut milk / whole milk
  • 2 tsp or 4g matcha powder
  • 3 tbsp condensed milk/honey/sweetener of choice

Instructions:

  1. First, add your choice of milk to a large bowl.
  2. Measure out 2 tsp of matcha powder and sift into the bowl. We recommend sifting the matcha powder into the milk to avoid clumps for a smoother consistency and bolder flavor. Feel free to add more matcha powder if you want a stronger matcha flavor!
  3. Then, add in your sweetener of choice. We recommend using at least 3 tbsp of sweetener. However, feel free to adjust to your taste preference.
  4. Next, using a regular whisk, mix all ingredients together until the consistency is smooth and there are no clumps of matcha or sweetener.
  5. Finally, pour the mixture into your popsicle molds.
  6. Lastly, place it into your freezer on a flat surface and freeze for 2-3 hours. Enjoy!
