Lovely mellow taste, highly caffeinated This is my first time trying Gyokuro and I’m very pleased with it! The dried leaves smell earthy and divine, and once brewed, it leaves a delicate/smooth flavor. It’s also very caffeinated, making it the perfect beverage to start off the day with.

I’ve also tried a few herbal teas from them which I equally highly recommend 🙂

My favorite green tea! This gyokuro tea is absolutely wonderful. It has a light, fresh, mellow flavor. Subtle nutty notes, and it’s not bitter at all. Definitely a high quality loose tea. It also comes in a reusable, refillable tin, so it’s eco-friendly! I only wish it came in larger sizes; I have a feeling I’ll get through this very quickly.

Has a Deep Mystical Property Somehow this particular gyokuro is more than just tea. Sure the flavor and scent are important but the beautiful relaxed feeling the tea produces is the best part.

Great Tea! I love green tea and have never tried this specific kind before. I love it! The flavor is much more smooth than your average green tea and it has an ever so slight sweeter taste. The packaging was super great and it comes in a reusable airtight tin. Love this Gyokuro

Great taste & authentic Excellent and authentic gyokuro! This is definitely one of my favorites. It has a delicate but distinct taste and reminds me of all the great tea I had in Japan. Gyokuro is my go-to for a good caffeine boost to keep me going throughout the day. It also comes sealed in a nicely designed tin can, so I don’t have to hunt down a container to keep the tea fresh. Highly recommended!

Great tasting light green tea! I love this green tea! It’s perfect for when I switch from drinking coffee in the morning to tea in the afternoon. It has a beautiful light flavor with a delicate roasty/toasty quality that reminds me of one of my favorite types of tea, genmaicha. Packaging was top notch, I especially enjoyed that it had specific instructions for the different types of teas – I never really knew each tea needed to be brewed at different temperatures!

Best Gyokuro tea I’ve found so far It’s been about a week since I got my Gyokuro tea.
As the seller suggested, I played around with the temperature, but the temperature they told me from answering my question (which was super fast) was the best! Tastes similar or better from the tea back home in Japan.
Instead of drinking coffee every morning, drinking this and makes helps me focus, get through the day! I love it!
I gave my friend the Sencha from Senbird, and she’s loving that one too! I’m looking forward to trying different ones.

Mmmm Taste great You get a small bag and In my opinion it is a little expensive for the amount of tea you get; but with all that said the taste is really nice, I only drink it twice a day due to the caffeine. I would like to drink it more than that, it taste good with everything thing I eat. with my meals, snacks and watching TV, it’s really that good; But that’s just me. I say, everyone should try this gyokuro!

Yum! I was pretty pleased with this gyokuro, though the tea leaf-to-water ratio needs to be a little higher for me compared to what is recommended on the label. I use about one tablespoon for about 10-12 ounces. I like a strong tea flow or though. It’s always refreshing to have this after drinking grocery store tea all week, as this is my weekend reserve. Will be buying regularly, moving forward.

Best green tea I wanted to start drinking green tea because of the health benefits but a lot of varieties have been too strong and honestly not enjoyable to drink. This green tea has been the absolute best I have come across. It is delicate tasting and delicious and I love the color of it.

Delicious if brewed right Delicious if brewed right. It’s kinda expensive for the amount but i understand that this tea is special. This tea is sensitive and must be brewed with great care. You might need to test a bit. If you brew it correctly it wont be bitter! Cool your water and don’t be hasty.

Prevents Sleeping I never thought a Green Tea would do this. But there are times when I don’t sleep at nights, and taking this tea in the morning, really helps me throughout the most part of the day. If I were to drink it every 6 hours, I would never feel sleepy for the whole day. You don’t need a whole lot of tea, just maybe a half of a teaspoon, and that can hold you up for 6 hours. To put your best foot forward, so to speak, I add it with loose black tea, which I brew myself, and make t-h-e perfect mug of tea.

Delicious tea. Great company. I love this green tea. I tried gyokuro at a tea shoppe years ago and have never bought it for myself to make at home. I received it as a gift and love the tea. Bright leaves. Buttery smooth flavor. Packaging is perfect. I usually drink jasmine loose leaf but this will be my new everyday tea. Will buy again for sure!

Freshness Exceeds Expectations The first thing I would like to say up front is that I’m diving back into tea since I am now more financially able to do so. This was one of my personal favorites straight from Senbird. If brewed properly, there will be an abundance of flavors presence. From a strong umami to hints of different types of subtle sweet flavors that leave a pleadant impression on the tongue!

Love it I’ve been looking to get into more organic teas. This is great!

Normally, I drink Jasmine pearls as my daily driver but Gyokuro has brought change – in 2022 and beyond, we will dance.

Delicious tea in a nice little tin This is my first time getting tea from them. I got gyokuro and hojicha. I’ve only tried this one so far and its tasty and I like the tin.

Very fresh and rich umami flavors As one of my first gyokuro teas, I have nothing else to compare it with, but yet I can remark that the tea leaves taste like they are freshly picked and carry a unique umami flavor that regular senchas do not have. I recommend it, and I am personally going to also try some of their other teas.

First taste Gyokuro: A look inside my tea bowl. My initial taste was startling. I wasn’t at all prepared for the umami flavor or the fantastic finish. The tea delivers a calm, mystery and thrill. Each sip brings umami and wonderful mouth-feel, followed by a subtle sweet decay. Then there’s the finish. Gyokuro lingers with a finish that is absolutely bracing!
