This organic sencha green tea uses fresh tea leaves at prime ripeness, the first pick of the season. The soft buds come from Japan’s Yabukita cultivar. This Fukamushi Sencha is savory and full-bodied with a natural sweetness that is truly exceptional.
Fukamushi Sencha, also known as Shizuoka’s signature style of green tea, is deep steamed for a longer duration than usual, resulting in a rich, vibrant green brew.
Cold-brew Sencha is delicious and refreshing. Simply add 10g of tea leaves to 500 ml of cold water, and let it steep in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours. Cold-brew Sencha can keep in the fridge for 2-3 days.

(verified owner) Submitted on:I often find that Japanese teas are too “grassy” for me. Obviously, this is just a matter of taste – many people look for that very quality. I was very pleased with the taste of this tea, and plan to make it my “go to” green tea. Great packaging as well. Finally, do make sure you brew this at a fairly low temperature. The instructions say 170 degrees F, but I would even recommend trying 160.

(verified owner) Submitted on:I originally bought this tea at my local Japanese supermarket and loved it. The store constantly runs out so now I place my tea orders online.

(verified owner) Submitted on:This tea is top notch in looks (deep green and leaves only, no twigs) aroma (fresh, grassy, fruity) and taste (fresh, grassy, fruity, delicate). I will definitely be ordering this tea again and again.
