This Sencha green tea is named after the cherry blossom flower petals that bloom at the beginning of Spring. Hence, this sencha green tea is light and crisp with a refreshing, grassy taste. This Asamushi Sencha comes from the predominant Yabukita cultivar in Japan. Since it’s lightly steamed, this sencha produces a light-bodied yellowish-green liquor.
Cold-brew Sencha is delicious and refreshing. Simply add 10g of tea leaves to 500 ml of cold water, and let it steep in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours. Cold-brew Sencha can keep in the fridge for 2-3 days.

(verified owner) Submitted on:Quite grassy and a bit too bitter for me. Perhaps the water temperature was too high.

Submitted on:It’s a pretty good Sencha, good for roughly 2 brews. Seems like the tea leaves are very particular with water temperature and steeping time when brewing. I like to drink it in the morning. Its slightly more astringent for my liking.
