My wife and I really appreciate the craftsmanship of the teapot. Its really beautiful. Our guests ask us where we got it all the time. We especially like how well the spout pours. There is no run-back along the spout and one doesn’t have to worry about dribbling on the surrounding surfaces. The biggest drawback is the size. Its designed for 2 people max. Other than that, an amazing kyusu.

A beautiful teapot and a joy to use. I love how deep the color is. The built-in strainer is a life-saver. Holds about 320 ml (almost 11 oz) when completely filled. Pouring can be tricky however, as the lid doesn’t form a tight seal on the pot, and it is very easy to make a mess, especially with a full pot.

    Perfect Gift

I got this as a gift for a tea-loving friend of mine. I love the deep blue color of this teapot and the size is just perfect. He used to be a tea-bag person but now drinks only loose leaf tea! This teapot has become a necessity for his daily morning tea practice.
