At a Glance
Isshin is a high-grade gyokuro made from the Asatsuyu cultivar, celebrated for its naturally sweet and mellow character. Grown under shade for 20 days before harvest, this gyokuro develops a vibrant green color, mellow umami flavor, and a smooth, low-astringency finish that sets it apart from standard green teas.
The name Isshin (一心), meaning “a moment of connection,” reflects the spirit of sharing and togetherness found in every cup. With notes of sweet greens, delicate umami, and a soft, smooth finish, each sip feels nurturing, uplifting, and grounding. Naturally rich in theanine and antioxidants, Gyokuro Isshin is perfect for mindful moments, meaningful conversations, or daily self-care rituals.

氷出汁
ICE BREW - KOORIDASHI GYOKURO
1 | Put the tea leaves in a kyusu or teapot (with a capacity of 500-700ml) without a tea strainer and spread thinly for easy extraction.
*Using a tea strainer is not recommended, as the extracted tea may get lukewarm over time at room temperature. If you would like to use a tea strainer, we would encourage you to leave the ice to melt in the fridge overnight.
2 | Put the ice directly on top of the tea leaves. We recommend using ice made from filtered water or mineral water for a more delicious flavor.
3 | Leave the teapot at room temperature for 4 to 5 hours or leave it in the fridge overnight. After the ice melts, shake it gently to even out the tea extract. Pour into the cup(s). Enjoy the beautiful green color and wonderful umami flavor!
I have been a green tea drinker for decades.
I bought this tea for the first time after reading its health benefit.
I really like its nice subtle taste and the soft tea leave texture.
It will be in my drinking collection for years to come.
The title of my review says everything.
Delicious traditional teas that taste expensive and quality. If you're a fan of traditional teas this one is sure to make you happy! It's quality tea from a quality brand.
EXPENSIVE! But a lovely, high quality tea.
I just discovered this brand – and honestly, I love it! The packaging is beautiful and the quality is seriously impressive.
It’s been four days now that I’ve started every morning with my Gyokuro, and not only do I savor the taste, but I can genuinely feel the effects on my focus and mental clarity.
For my next order, I’m thinking of trying the Matcha.
I also really appreciate that it’s organic – it gives me peace of mind knowing I’m drinking high-quality tea, free from pesticides.
Yes, the price is on the premium side, but for this kind of quality, for me it’s totally worth it.
