Mugicha, made from roasted barley kernels, offers a full-bodied, nutty taste with hints of caramel. Our Mugicha Barley Tea is made with Rokujou barley, roasted using a far-infrared method to enhance its aroma and sweetness. Somewhat similar to a light iced coffee, this richly flavored tea is especially refreshing and hydrating when chilled, making it perfect for hot, humid days. While best cold-brewed, it can also be enjoyed hot.

Cultivated and roasted by a family farm since the Meiji era in 1874, Mugicha is a staple in Japan during the spring and summer. This caffeine-free, zero-calorie herbal tea is ideal for all ages and times of the day. Each pouch contains 30 tea bags, with each bag brewing one liter of tea perfect for sharing with friends and family.
