Each scoop reflects the natural grain and texture of bark harvested from trees that have withstood years of snow and wind, ensuring lasting strength and character.

Ideal for daily use, it measures approximately one tablespoon of tea leaves. No two scoops are exactly alike—each one is a singular blend of texture, tone, and timeless craftsmanship. For a thoughtful tea ritual, it pairs beautifully with our cherry bark chazutsu tea canisters.

鉄瓶を使った煎茶の淹れ方

HOW TO BREW SENCHA WITH A TETSUBIN

Step 1 Fill tetsubin with fresh, filtered water. Place directly on the stove to boil.

Step 2 Pour water into cups to warm the cup and cool down the water. You can also use a yuzamashi water cooler.

Step 3 Pour water over tea leaves. Recommended water temperature for this Sencha is 176°F (80°C). It typically takes 1 minute to cool to ideal temperature. The flavor will be lighter and sweeter when brewed at lower water temperatures such as 158°F (70°C). Try different brew times and temperatures to find your preference.

Step 4 Steep for 1-2 minutes. All of our teas can be steeped up to 3 times.
