急須を使った緑茶の淹れ方

HOW TO PREPARE GREEN TEA USING KYUSU

| Boil water and cool it to the right temperature in a yuzamashi or water cooling pitcher.

2 | Measure five (5) grams (1 teaspoon) for a kyusu with 200ml to 250ml of water. Then add to a dry and clean kyusu teapot.

| Slowly pour the cooled water into the kyusu, filling it about 90% full, leaving room at the top for cleaner decantation.

4 | Add the lid for the recommended infusion time, generally about one to two minutes for Japanese green tea

5 | Hold the kyusu, secure the lid with your thumb, and pour tea into cups, alternating between them 6-7 times to ensure each cup gets an equal amount. Pour out all the tea from the kyusu.

Beautiful Blue Glaze

The pot itself is very beautiful....the glaze and shape is stunning and high quality! Unfortunately, it is too small for my needs. But if you're looking for a small, well made, attractive tea pot....this is for you!

Great teapot

This is a great teapot for your green tea each day. The ergonomics of the pot are perfect. Some may claim it is a bit small, but all quality Japanese teapots run the same size. It’s perfect for about 10 oz of tea at a time. I highly recommend not only the teapot, but the people at Senbird Tea. They are great to work with.

“The teapot is very good. I once bought the same one in Japan, but I broke it.

Absolutelly gorgeous and functional

Very well made and easy to use. Has a built in filter so the tea stays put. Very useful for two people and you get a little over two small cups per serving. Just add more hot water for more. Does not need long to steep. Very happy with the purchase. Easily cleaned with just rinsing.
