  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon + 1/4 tsp for the apples
  • 1/2 cup Rolled Oats
  • 1/3 cup Milk of Choice (oat milk, almond, cashew)
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 1/4 tsp Vanilla
  • 1/3 cup Apple Sauce (unsweetened)

Apple Topping

  • 1 small/medium apple cubed
  • 1/4 tsp Cinnamon

Other Toppings (optional)

  • Matcha Green Tea powder
  • The nut of Choice (We used almonds)

How to make a Healthy Matcha Oatmeal:

  1. First, start with the dry ingredients: Incorporate ½ tsp of cinnamon into the rolled oats in a mason jar or other airtight container.
  2. Then the wet ingredients: Mix in the apple sauce and milk of choice, followed by the honey and vanilla.
  3. Next, add ¾ tsp of matcha powder into the wet ingredients
  4. Afterward, store your oats in the fridge to chill.
  5. Finally, to make your apple topping: combine the cubed apple and ¼ tsp of cinnamon, then mix well. Subsequently, store in an airtight container. (The Cinnamon will prevent your apples from browning overnight)
